• Winery stop with lunch - for travelers who have more time, we can arrange a wine tasting with lunch at a winery restaurant, for example at Casas del Bosque in Casablanca Valley or Matetic in El Rosario Valley. Advance reservation is required.
• Leyda / Lo Abarca wine area - a quieter coastal wine region known for cool-climate wines and ocean influence. Possible stops may include Casa Marín in Lo Abarca or Viña Garcés Silva in Leyda.
• Puro Caballo equestrian show - a countryside-style experience in the Casablanca area, with horses, Chilean traditions, and the possibility of lunch. This stop depends on the show schedule and must be arranged in advance.
• Valparaíso hills and street art - a short walk through the colorful hills of Valparaíso, with murals, historic streets, and panoramic viewpoints over Valparaíso Bay.
• Isla Negra - Pablo Neruda's house museum, one of the most atmospheric cultural stops on the Chilean coast.
• Santo Domingo - a coastal viewpoint at Mirador Puntilla Santa Isabel, with the option of a short nature walk at Parque Humedal Río Maipo.
• Parque Tricao Aviary - a nature stop near Santo Domingo, known for its large aviary, birds, landscaped trails, wetlands, and open-air spaces. This option requires more time than a simple photo stop.
• El Totoral - a small rural village where it may be possible to visit Inventando Papeles, a handmade eco-paper workshop.

If you share your ship's name and schedule when booking, we monitor arrival information and adjust the pickup time to the updated disembarkation whenever possible. The driver waits at the agreed meeting point, and you receive the driver's contact for direct communication.

• December 8 - the Lo Vásquez pilgrimage triggers major traffic measures and even closures on Route 68, which matters if your plan includes Casablanca that day.
• Summer weekends (late December to early March) - heavy flows between Santiago and the coast: Friday evenings and Saturday mornings toward the coast, Sunday evenings back to Santiago.
• New Year - one of the busiest travel days of the year on the highways, with the peak on December 31.
• September 18-19 (Fiestas Patrias) - a long holiday weekend when interurban roads get much busier.
• September 11 - commemoration events can disrupt traffic in Santiago; this coastal route is normally not affected, but we keep it in mind for connections.
• Easter weekend and other long weekends - outbound peaks on Thursday afternoon, return peaks on Sunday.
