Larus - Latin for "seagull"
A bird that follows ships and knows no borders - and our journeys across Chile are built the same way. Larus is a creative project by two guides with many years of experience, based in Santiago. Together with trusted local colleagues, we design original, author-crafted routes across Chile, created by people who are truly in love with their work.

Founder & Creative Lead
Anna Larus
I'm Anna, and I founded Larus after moving to Chile in 2013. Since then, I've been creating journeys across the country together with trusted colleagues.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing and working with clay, and I bring that same creative approach to my work.
Operations & Guiding
Svetlana Balin
Part of the Larus project from the very beginning - since 2014, when our seagull was just taking its first flight and everything began as a collaboration between two guides in Santiago.
Today, I design and coordinate our routes, making sure every detail is thought through and everything runs according to schedule.

Wine Tour in Maipo Valley
Great tour of the wineries! Leo was our lovely guide who was very happy to translate at any of the wineries that didn't speak English and gave us lots of interesting information. The wineries were beautiful. Car was big and comfortable. Planning was thorough and they even made a quick reschedule for us the day before after we messed up our dates! So grateful. Highly recommend!

New Year Atacama Desert & Patagonia Tour

Santiago Full Day Tour & Valparaiso, Viña & Concon
There were six of us, and everyone came away with their own WOW moments. Panoramic views of Santiago from different, history-filled viewpoints helped us truly absorb the vibe and power of this vibrant, energy-filled city surrounded by the mighty Andes. And today’s mind-blowing meeting with Angela Mochi at the Attilio & Mochi winery was something truly special.

3-Day Excursion Program from Santiago
We had an interesting city tour in Santiago on Day 1 with our guide Elena, stopping at the main points of interest. On Day 2, we visited Viña del Mar, Valparaiso, Reñaca, and the Concon dunes. We then finished Day 3 in the Maipo Valley wine region and were pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable our guide was about wine.

Chile & Peru Shore Excursions
Svetlana organized shore excursions for us during our cruise and after it as well. We visited Lima, Pisco, Arica, Coquimbo, Santiago, and Cusco. Everything went perfectly and was handled at a very professional level. Thank you!

3 Days in Torres del Paine
Thank you to Anna for organizing our two wonderful days in Torres del Paine National Park. We had a kids-friendly hiking day with children aged 7-10 along the Lago Sarmiento - Laguna Amarga route, and a scenic day with a boat trip to Grey Glacier. On the second day, our guide was Juan — an amazing and very charismatic guide. Highly recommended!
