Pickup at San Antonio Port
Your bilingual guide and private driver will greet you directly at the San Antonio cruise terminal to begin your journey into the nearby valley.
Transfer to Artisan Workshop
Artisan Workshop: Inventando Papeles
Visit a small family-owned workshop dedicated to traditional papermaking. Under the expert guidance of a master artisan, you will learn to cut, prepare, and grind raw materials to create your own unique sheets of paper.
During the workshop, you work with soaked fibers, plant-based binders and botanical elements such as lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus leaves and calendula. You will see how textured handmade paper is used for art, design and special events, and you will have time to compare different styles and textures.
Transfer to Vineyard
A short transfer ride brings you to one of the San Antonio Valley’s most prestigious wineries. Depending on availability, you will either visit Casa Marín, the biodynamic Matetic vineyard, or the exclusive Garcés Silva.
Wine Tasting and Lunch
You will taste cool-climate wines that have made the valley well known, followed by a meal at a boutique winery restaurant or a nearby local favorite.
Santiago
We end the day by taking you back to your hotel in Santiago or to Santiago Airport.
