Itinerary Details:
Pickup at San Antonio Port
Your guide and driver will meet you directly at the San Antonio cruise terminal for a full-day private tour ending in Santiago. We’ll begin as soon as you disembark.
Transfer to Santiago
After leaving the Pacific coast, we travel inland toward Santiago along the main highway that links the port to the capital. As we move away from the ocean, the landscape gradually shifts to open valleys and vineyard-covered slopes on the outskirts of the city. This region, historically part of the Maipo wine area, is known for Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère.
Wine Tasting and Lunch
If we visit Cousiño Macul:
We’ll visit one of the oldest family-owned wineries in Chile, founded in 1856 and still run by the same family today. Located within Santiago itself, it offers a rare chance to visit historic cellars without leaving the city far behind. During the visit, we’ll walk through the older winery spaces, learn about the estate’s long history in the Maipo Valley, and finish with a guided tasting of three wines.
If we go to Aquitania:
We’ll visit a boutique vineyard in Peñalolén, set in the Quebrada de Macul at over 700 meters above sea level. The tour starts at their vineyard viewpoint, with open views across the vines, and then continues down into the winery and barrel rooms. It finishes with a guided tasting of four wines from their Premium and Icon selections.
If you’re not flying out that day and there’s no rush, we can take our time and enjoy lunch at the winery restaurant or at a nearby spot.
Transfer to Bahai Temple
Next, we’ll head to Santiago to visit the Bahai Temple of South America, which opened in 2016 as a peaceful place for everyone to reflect. The temple stands on high ground at the city’s edge, with wide views over Santiago and, on clear days, the Andes.
Tour in Bahai Temple
The temple’s design features nine wings that rise in a gentle, flower-like shape, giving it a unique look. Each petal uses cast glass on the outside and translucent marble inside, letting daylight softly fill the space. The prayer hall holds up to 600 people, and the building is surrounded by gardens and reflecting pools that blend into the foothills. The grounds have ramps and easy pathways for those who want to avoid stairs, so you can explore at your own pace.
Transfer to hotel or airport
At the end of the tour, your driver will take you to your hotel or the airport in Santiago.
