Native Rose Farm Visit

2 hours

We start the day with a visit to Native Rose, a small rose farm. There, you will meet the founders, who will share how they began growing Damask roses in Chile.
Today, Native Rose is still something quite unusual in the country, combining rose cultivation with a small line of natural cosmetic products made from their own rose extracts and oils. After a brief introduction, we walk through the rose fields around the estate. Each guest receives a woven basket and is invited to pick a few petals by hand.
It is a simple, hands-on way to experience the place: walking among the bushes, touching the flowers, breathing in their scent, and learning about the Damask rose's growing cycle and the work behind each harvest.
During the flowering season, usually from October to November, the fragrance in the fields is especially noticeable, making the visit even more memorable.
Native Rose produces natural cosmetics made with essences and oils extracted from their own roses. These products are known for their quality and are sold in selected boutiques and specialty shops.
Only recently have the owners started opening their rose farm to visitors. Because of that, the experience feels very authentic: rather than a staged tourist attraction, you are visiting a real Chilean working farm, meeting the people behind the project, and learning about their work firsthand.
There is also time to see their small collection of cosmetics and scented products, and if you wish, you can purchase some items directly at the farm.
This is a relaxed and personal visit — a chance to spend time in the countryside, learn about the work behind Native Rose, and experience the Damask rose up close.

Santa Rita Winery

4 hours

Next, we arrive at Santa Rita Winery, one of Chile's most historic wine estates in the heart of the Maipo Valley. Here we’ll enjoy lunch, visit the pre-Columbian museum, explore the beautiful park, and taste some of Santa Rita’s wines.
We'll start with lunch at the historic Doña Paula restaurant, inside the old manor house. The house is over a hundred years old and keeps its traditional colonial style, with wooden beams, clay roof tiles, and stone floors.
Guests can choose from a small menu that includes a choice of starter main course, and dessert featuring Chilean dishes such as tuna tartare, slow-braised beef plateada, fresh fish, and traditional desserts.
Meals are served with seasonal sides and reflect the local cuisine of the Maipo Valley.
After lunch, we'll visit the Andean Museum, a small but fascinating museum on the winery grounds. Its collection of about 3,000 pre-Columbian objects gives you a closer look at Chile’s archaeological and cultural heritage. It's a great stop for anyone interested in the country's history and traditions.
Next, we'll take Santa Rita’s Premium Wine Tour, which includes a walk through the beautiful Casa Real Centenario Park and chapel, and ends with a tasting of premium wines.
