Handmade Paper Workshop & Wine Tasting Full Day Experience

At 9:00 a.m., a driver and local guide will meet you at your accommodation in Santiago.

Here, a real gem of the day is waiting for us - papercraft workshop of "Inventando Papeles."
Its a a small family project. Here you will be able to create your sheets of paper in the stamps of this visit through meticulous work with materials under the attentive guidance of the master.To create a sheet of paper by hand, you have to obey the mentor's instructions, be patient, and bring with you some healthy enthusiasm.
The master will show you the technique of cutting, preparing, and grinding raw materials. The material with which we work to create paper, and the basic rules for what and in which industries its product is used. Ground and soaked, this material is mixed with water and glue of the plant, dry vegetable fibers such as ground leaves of eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender flowers, and calendulas, foxes of fox tail and cane, leatherback, seeds, and herbs.
You will see thick and thin, white and colored paper. Paper with seeds, leaves, and flowers that has a unique texture and looks like an art product. Some sheets of paper made in the workshop go to the table of the card designers, artists, decorators, and jewelers. Others become invitation tickets and elements of decoration at events and wedding celebrations.
You will have time to choose the paper you like best or look carefully at different styles and types of paper. Touch their texture with your fingers and feel what this or that sheet can tell you.

After that, we will have lunch at the winery's restaurant or a neighboring one. According to date and availability, we will stop for a wine tour at one of the following wineries in the San Antonio Valley: Casa Marin vineyard, the biodynamic Matetic vineyard, or the exclusive Garces Silva vineyard, known for its excellent wines. The vineyard visit could take us about 1 hour and a half. Here, we will see every tiny detail that makes owners proud.

Arrive back in Santiago between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
