Tour Overview:

Colchagua Valley is a relatively new wine-producing region in Chile. Wine tourism considerations guided the construction of the area's most modern winemaking facilities. As a result, the Colchagua Valley enjoys a growing reputation as the "Napa Valley" of Chile.
The Colchagua Valley has a canonical wine climate: warm but cooled by ocean breezes and dry but refreshed by rivers and occasional rains. Together with Maipo Valley to the north, it is one of the most important wine regions in Chile. Casa Lapostolle's Clos Apalta, Montes' Folly Syrah, and Viña Casa Silva's Altura may be included among some of the most prestigious wines from Chile; they are perfect examples of the regional style. During our tour we invite you to visit these three most essential wineries: Casa Silva, Clos Apalta, and Montes.

Casa Silva Winery: Where Heritage Meets Innovation

Casa Silva Winery will be our first destination. It is the region's oldest and most traditional winery, offering a glimpse into Chile's rich legacy and history.  The winery tour allows us to see vineyards dating back to 1912, explore the antique car collection, visit the hotel and stables, learn about different grape varieties, such as Carmenere, and the estate's devotion to producing wines of outstanding quality, and conclude with a delicate wine tasting.

    2

Unveiling the Splendor of Clos de Apalta

Our next visit will be to Clos de Apalta in the Apalta Valley. This winery is known for its world-class wines and breathtaking architecture and it is particularly interesting because of gravity-fed facilities, which were skillfully created to use gravity to make wine.
During the guided tour, you'll get a firsthand look at the winemaking process as you hear about the diligent procedures for crafting wines. Then, a wine tasting is waiting for you; you can taste the well-known Clos Apalta and Le Petit Clos wines.

As the day draws, we will head to Viña Montes. Here, we will have a stunning dining experience at their on-site restaurant, where every dish is skillfully balanced with the best wines from Viña Montes. The peaceful vineyard surroundings perfectly complement a relaxing and delicious lunch.
